A little on the expensive side but works well.
S J Cotton –
Had several comments about how good it looks. And it does pour really nicely, it’s the little things in life sometimes!
Wendy Shaw –
This is my 3rd Russell Hobbs traditional style kettle since 1977!! The lid of the 2nd one was plastic but the lid of my 1st one fitted it which meant that lid lasted 45years!! Love my new elegant one and particularly appreciate that it is cordless. Had trouble fixing the lid until l leant the nack. You fix it on then push it down.
Gena –
Easy to use, quick to boil…. what more can you ask for?

Beautiful retro kettle. Very stylish and works perfectly. Stainless steel, very easy to wipe over and pours well.I owned this style 40 years ago and just had to have the anniversary edition. It makes me smile to look at……

The kettle is a very nice, classic design. Very fast and the water pours effortlessly. However, two niggly points that could be improved with a design tweak:The lid is very tight and it needs a good twist to lift it off. There’s also no little LED light built in the handle or the base to tell you that it is on.We did not have this little light in the old days. But practically all the current kettles have either the light in the handle or built in the base. So, why not?

When the kettle arrived I thought it a bit small but I was wrong. It is a great kettle and I was pleased how smoothly it poured! I have had it now for 5 months and still the best kettles I’ve owned.
Marion –
I’m really pleased with this kettle having owned one of originals . It looks good, is much quieter than my old jug kettle, is easy to fill and pours quickly and smoothly. I haven’t had any problems so far after using it for 2 weeks. Well worth the money.

Beautiful kettle. Boils really quickly Nice classic design.Really good quickly.

My 92-year old mother was delighted with this kettle becasue, to her, it is a ‘proper kettle’. She does not like jug kettles or any other shape than this standard, stainless steel type with a handle at the top. Although the design is called retro by Russell Hobbs, to people of her generation it is just ‘normal’. This kettle was not available last time she renewed her kettle and she ended up with a large, catering size kettle which was cumbersome for one person living alone and looked old-fashioned. I am glad to have been able to replace it.

Not the biggest of kettles, but is fast and especially good if you only want to boil what you need-light to lift with a fab spoutwould be particularly good for singletons
Charlie Hinde –
Received promptly and in good condition. just as I remember it Kettle in the old style in preference to a jug.

We got our kettle a couple of days ago.We decided to go for this model due to nostalgic reasons, growing up with the original model.I absolutely love the simplicity of the design and functionality of the model. Does what it’s supposed to do, looks beautiful, grip is nice and ergonomic and I like how the water flows out of the spout when you poor it. Can highly recommend it
Julie Roberts –
Haven’t used yet as it’s for my new kitchen. Good size, looks good and good quality. Reminds me of our kettle at home all those years ago!
Abi R –
Bought for my mum who has arthritis in her hands. She says it’s very easy to use and doesn’t cause her pain like her old kettle used to. Also very quick to boil compared to some.
Tracey14 –
I wasn’t sure if I would like this style but I have to admit it is lovely and neat on the counter, the spout and pouring of the kettle is so good. No overflowing water everywhere like most kettles I have used. Good buy and am pleased I chose this style
Carole –
I have no dislike, I love the way it pours, you don’t have to tip it to quickly, my tea tastes so good. And it looks good.
Philip Harriman –
Love is kettle it’s a great design!
Mr Roberts –
Really good quality and pours perfectly. Quiet when boiling, comfortable to hold and looks great in my retro kitchen.Had an earlier model of this kettle and have been waiting years for it to come back!

What do I use this for asks Amazon! I boil water in it and pour the hot water into a cup, teapot or saucepan. The wife fills her hot water bottle using this. It is much easier to pour using this style rather than a jug kettle. We are really old (70 ish). The only negative is that no light comes on to show that it is on, and working, as well as clearly showing the water level in the kettle. I dithered for YEARS before spending this much on a kettle but I am delighted that I did!

One of the best kettles I’ve ever used and I like the retro styling. The water lever gauge is not much use, but I prefer to fill it via the top anyway.
Garfield –
I love the traditional design and pouring the water is a joy, you don’t get water splashes all over like with other kettles. It boils really quickly and you can easily how much water there is in the kettle. Refreshing that it doesn’t have a Led light of any kind. Very good purchase.
MR M STREET –
Has it for several months now – love this kettle
