I got this to make getting through the school uniforms a lot easier and quicker. I was sceptical that an iron like this would make any difference after a friend suggested a steam generator iron to me. It makes a huge difference, once it has heated up ot stays hot unlike the traditional style irons. There’s no running over the same areas of clothing twice, makes really sharp creases on shirts sleeves and trousers and the huge water capacity gets rid of interruptions.

After dropping my iron and breaking the sole plate I was in need of a new one . After reading the reviews I chose is one . I’ve had steam generator irons in the past but I have to say this is my favourite . Light weight quick to heat up and hot enough to iron with out steam but a good amount of steam when needed. It was half the price of my last one and the overall performance in my opinion is much better . Glad my old one hit the deck now

The steam it produces is more than enough for standard household ironing. Some of the reviews have said about the time lag in the steam button being pressed and the steam coming out. There is a lag but it does work and you get used to it.For the price, it represents great value.

This is an excellent iron and I am very pleased with it. I had another one from a very well known manufacturer which I liked, however after two years it failed. Due to its price I was able to have it restored, however again after 2 years it failed again!! The price of this iron was exceptionally reasonable, compared with my previous iron and as yet I have only had it for 6 months it performs very well and no complaints!!

I read some of the reviews, the negative ones as well. I wish we had brought this years ago, so easy to use, great varied temperature settings, very effective on all types of ironing. I followed the instructions and NO leaks onto the ironing. I would definitely recommend using this product.

I read some mixed reviews but decided to buy because I have had three irons of this type (not this make) before and all were more than twice the cost of this iron (all failed within a two year period so I was not going to spend very £150 again). You can rest the hot iron on the soft rubber mounts and the mounts do hold the iron in place BUT be careful when transporting from room to room. Steam is very good, water tank holds more than enough, heats up quick. I can recommend this iron.

My last iron died after about 3 years, it was quite an expensive one. I decided to go for a cheaper one this time and it was a great decision. The water tank is big so less refilling. It heats up quickly, great as I can be impatient! The cord is plenty long enough and it looks quite nice too.I wouldn’t always go for the lower priced appliance but in this case it was well worth it.

We have more than one iron station, this one stands out because you carb remove the water holder to fill instead of bringing jugs of water too the machine, this also allows you to clean the container much more readily. All round great iron does what you would expect.

One of my clients purchased one. After trying it out I purchased one. Once reservoir is filling with water I got 3 washing machine loads of ironing done. No more constantly filling with water. No leakage from iron when on stand. Easy to to empty and I like wire length and storage. Highly recommended

Positives, heats up really quickly, easy to fill and empty and nice weight.Negatives for me are the blue light on the iron is very annoying it has the same effect on your eyes as ironing a stripey top.Also steam doesn’t stop for a while after releasing the steam button.I would have given full marks but for these couple of niggles.

Absolutely love this iron/steam generator. I needed to replace my existing steam generator iron, oh my I did not expect it to be such a minefield trying to choose, some are so expensive I wasn’t prepared to pay the price, but this little one popped up & thought let me order & give it a try & if no good I’ll return it.It’s a keeper, it’s great, the only little niggle I have is the actual iron isn’t very sturdy when you stand it upright if you put it down on the ironing board while you move a garment round, the rubber that guards the cord going into it is quite bulky, I just have to get used to putting it on the base while I move garments round

Bought this to replace my broken more expensive make. Was shocked how expensive some steam generating irons got. Decided to take a chance and plump for this relatively cheap one. Not at all disappointed. Great steam output, very light, large water reserve. For the price nothing not to like. Would recommend.
