The title says it all really. After searching for a toaster that has slots long enough (not talking about width for bagels etc) to fit an ordinary slice of bread in eg Warbutons, Kingmill this is the one. It’s simple, if that’s all you’re aiming to do ie toast your slice of bread for breakfast and it’s quick. Fair enough like others I have tried/researched one side does get slightly browner than the other but not an issue. What I don’t understand is why do toaster manufacturers not have standard size slots. Large slice bread has been around a long time (mother’s pride for example back in the day!)

I received the toaster last week, read the instructions and put it on full blast once (empty). After that, I changed the setting to 3 and popped some bread in (medium white) and it toasted beautifully. Not had a fault with it or a uneven burnt slice of toast so jobs a good’n.It also looks sleek and goes well with my Russel Hobb microwave which I bought a couple of years ago.

I love my new Russell Hobbs toaster. It looks stylishly retro, the controls are simple to use, it was great value for money and so far it seems to toast everything without any problems. The openings are generous and have taken various sizes of bread, muffins and crumpets.

Great toaster, does it all, thin, medium and thick slices as well as pitta bread halved.Saw a couple of reviews of people saying it never the toasted the top cm of the bread but was pretty sure those people didn’t think to turn the slices sideways

Bought to replace a similar older toaster which gave many years of good service. New model is faster, toasts very evenly and is fairly easy to clean. Being able to view toast without interrupting cycle is useful modification. Can’t comment on durability but expect it to be as good as my previous toaster. From experience with older model, making sure crumbs are not allowed to accumulate in bottom of toaster is important. Failure to do so may cause loading slide to fail to engage.

Model number 23331, stainless steel with black front and back panels.Good toaster, a lot faster than the previous RH toaster. Takes full sized slices (up to 20mm thick).We also like that you can check if it’s done while it’s toasting.We do have to have it set to maximum to get the well done toast we like but this is fine.
