Pretty good little hand blender for soups, purees, etc. Not so great for smoothies/milkshakes, and it struggles to get through frozen fruit unless its softened a bit or very small. You get a bit of a burning plastic smell after using the high setting for a while, but otherwise a good handy little blender!

Have just used on vegetable soups -did the job and easy to clean. Our experience with a different brand name with (strikingly!!) similar but smaller design but apparently a smaller motor & ? lower power was not good as it burned out early.

It works well. 2 speed. Twist to separate. Wash the lower half. A little fiddly to get to cleaning behind the cutter. You need a long bristled brush at first. There appears to be a right and wrong way to fit it together because it makes more noise the other way. Someone said it doens’t cut to the bottom, which it can’t otherwise it would damage the pan. But it you move the food about with the blender itself, it will mix it all. Powerful on 2nd speed. It works, it turns potatoes (without milk or butter) into a paste. What more can I say. Good and value for money.

so. here we go again. another purchase i didn’t want to make, but i have to have one of these, due to new diet. doctors orders. as i have no experience in buying blenders, i didnt know what to expect, but it does the job i need it to do perfectly. i don’t have room for a desk top multi blender, so i intentionally went for a hand one for easy and quick blending. i got my pyrex measuring jug out. oats, egg and a banana. put the blender in. turned it on (slower speed) and holy moly. 10 seconds. boom. the end twists off from the motor and goes straight into the washing up bowl. (not the motor end) damn its easy. totally recommend. not designed for really large volumes of blending.
