the speed dial also acts as the release for the beaters which lead to some funny moments initially when I accidentally press down when changing speed.but once you know it does that its easy to avoid.highly recommend

This is a brilliant little mixer for the money. I have # Kenwood Chef I use mainly but I have weak wrists and find it difficult to mash potatoes and stuff so I use a hand whisk. One of the beaters snapped on my old hand held one so I thought I would just get a cheap one to replace it. It is brilliant and far better than my old one. Whips up potatoes and cream in an instant.
