In less than 60 seconds, it can be converted from a gas barbecue to a charcoal barbecue without the use of any tools. The charcoal is simply poured into our patented charcoal tray and ignited by the stainless steel gas burners... there's no need for a barbecue lighter. The charcoal tray's design ensures an even heat distribution. This, along with the cast iron grates, can be easily handled with the grate lifter that comes with your grill. The inside of our popular new edition offers space for a gas bottle, which can be easily connected and disconnected via the access flap. It also provides a view of the fill level indicator on the gas bottle. With its two heavy-duty wheels, the grill can easily be moved to the desired location. And its integrated bottle opener made of die-cast zinc ensures that your favourite chilled drink won't stay sealed for long. Sturdy BBQ but not super practical

Pos: Looks really good Sturdy Love the gas/charcoal combo Decent price/valueNeg: Assembly is a bit tricky but do-able (really need focus) Why have the gas hoze underneath the extra fire beaken when the instructions say to keep the gas away from it There is some storage space, but no doors to access it from the front. Makes it difficult to install bbq near to a wall ( you'll lose access to the backside storage. You have to order extra pins to hang your utensils My connector did not connect to the propane bottle - I checked with the gas seller and the connector is the right one for the bottle. Wasn't able to click it into place :-(

Sturdy but difficult to clean

Takes a couple of hours to build as people have mentioned, build quality is far superior than my previous gas BBQ but that should be expected as it was double the price.The hybrid thing seems to work quite well, I've done 3 coal cooks on it all have gone well, there is no air flow control like a weber when using coal so temp control is limited to opening and shutting the lid.Cooking on gas also seems to work fine, very good temp control, cleaning is a bit of a problem as the bottom of the BBQ bit is not removable, my old BBQ the whole under side beneath the burners slid out and could be scraped clean quite easily, the Coal 2 gas requires you to remove all the grill, heat shields etc to get and clean it. (Unfortunately, it does say in the small print that this BBQ is not designed to be cleaned by turning it on full and burning excessive off, I hadn’t seen this bit, this technique worked fine on my old barby for years.)The grill rack itself is very sturdy cast iron, but things do seem to stick to it quite easily.Overall would I buy again, the jury’s still out…

Gas/Electric BBQ

Very impressed with this spur of the moment purchase, and arrived next day, well packaged and protected. Works very well on gas setting, not tried charcoal yet, but this was the beauty of this BBQ, can use either. Very well made, sturdy and reasonably easy to assemble, but takes a while, haven't' cleaned yet.

Good Grill

Very good grill. Takes a bit of getting used to, but generally good. The grill grate can be washed separately as well as the charcoal tray.
