The AEG IKE84441FB Bridge Induction Hob comprises of various settings which can be adapted to your cooking needs.
Induction hobs use electromagnets positioned below the ceramic cooking zone. This means that the heat will be directly transferred to the pan, without heating the surrounding surface. The best thing about this is that if there are any spills, they can be cleaned as you go - avoiding any liquid or food being burnt onto the hob.
With 4 induction zones to choose from, you can cook based on your needs. This AEG hob also has a Single Bridging Zone feature, combining multiple areas of the hob for versatile cooking. 2 zones can be merged into one, heating the entire surface of larger pans.

Complete with MaxiSense®, the size and shape of the pans will be detected no matter how small or large they are. This means that the hob will know exactly where they're placed, ensuring that they only send heat to that area. Not only does this save energy, but it also makes it super-safe.
Child lock will further increase the safety surrounding your hob. Preventing unwanted tampering with the appliance, the control panel will be completely locked so children cannot turn the hob on or change the settings.
With the addition of Hob2Hood, you can connect your hob to a compatible cooker hood. The hands-free design allows the hob to connect to the hood via infrared, so the integrated lights inside the hood come on too. Should your kitchen begin to get steamy and need a stronger extraction, the power will automatically be boosted without you having to touch a button.
You will no longer have to wait around for your pots to boil with the PowerBoost button. Giving you an instant burst of heat to boil water in under 90 seconds, it's handy for quick cooking jobs and boiling water.
Please note: Induction hobs are not suitable for those with a pacemaker due to the use of electromagnets.
