Got it as as a replacement for the previous one that broke after 6 years of daily use. And because I’ve got a matching toaster I was lucky they still make the same kettle so I avoided replacing both. Hope this one lasts as long as previous one. New kettle seems to be slightly different shape but the colour is exactly the same.

Well done me on choosing this kettle – only had it a few days but all features & design really good & useful including excellent pouring spout – can’t comment on longevity but have Russell Hobs toaster which has served me well for a number of years so am confident there is no reason why kettle won’t do them same.

Tea drinking is my LIFE And I was having umpteen problems with my kettle which was leaking everywhere. There is a high end kettle costing in the hundreds which I desperately wanted but I decided to buy this one as a stopgap. Ordered in the morning and it arrived by 10 pm that evening.When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised, the styling is a little bit retro reminds me of those office kettles from when I was an office junior/ tea maker in the 80s, I’m absolutely delighted with it. The water is a perfect temperature, others have said it’s quite loud but it doesn’t bother me, and so far it’s been wonderful. It’s also a really nice colour it fits in with other kitchen equipment I’ve got without standing out. Because it looks so good and performs so well I won’t be bothering with the expensive one at least not until I win the lottery! XHighly recommended!

This boils water. It doesn’t spill when you pour the water out like previous kettles I have owned. I once burnt my foot one was that bad. This one is not.It can be a little noisy but that really doesn’t bother me, it drowns out the Mrs!A really nice colour. I’d definitely buy this again if this one disappeared.

I’ve actually bought three of these kettles, I like them so much, for different houses. The retro styling is cool (matches the Russell Hobbs toasters) and the red “cups” indicator inside lets you know how much – or how little – water you need to put in to boil a cuppa.The only downside is that the lid doesn’t have a catch to release it – you just have to pull it open. This is fine so far but I worry it may break with repeated use. Let’s see. For now, five stars.

This is a review of Russell Hobbs after sales service. Our kettle developed a minor defect but had been some Months after purchase so I contacted Russell Hobbs directly. All they requested was a copy of the invoice a photo and in no time at all a new Kettle appeared on my doorstep. A nice easy replacement process so from my experience you can buy with confidence.As for the kettle it looks ok and boils water, just as you’d expect.

We had a set of toaster and kettle both in this cream colour and the kettle just broke. Gutted. Found this replacement, exact same colour and even better because I feel it’s pretty much impossible to make a mess you could put it upside down and water would only flow out the very point of the ‚nose‘ – very much in contrary to the old one.
