The UB30CH is a 2-zone electric ceramic hob with a child safety lock and 9 power levels. It has a 15 minute safety cut-off feature that makes it perfect for srtudent accomodation.
Ceramic refers to the finish of a hob rather than the workings of the hob itself. These cooktops work thanks to the heating elements underneath the glass surface which warm up and transfer heat to the selected cooking zone. They are considerably quicker to heat up than their solid plate counterparts.
